What challenges in life have you conquered and emerged from a better person?

Some of the challenges I have been facing within the last 7 months are to trust and believe in God in the midst of financial ruin. Seeing God work in the midst of my husband's and my circumstances has caused my heart to be glad for friends, family and my husband. It is hard to be on the receiving end when your heart has always been to give, but I am now seeing that there are times to give and times to receive. I am coming to learn in a whole new way that everything is totally out of my hands and that I need to lean on and depend upon God for each breath... literally ... these coming days are going to be challenging and our ship will only point true north if we have our hearts firmly set in God's truth and our mind and soul sold out for the Lord and His ways... no matter what the outcome. We are privlidged to be a part of this time in history. I want to be the most effective I can be until my last breath. God has taken me through so many losses, and I am still here.. for what I am not quite sure in this hour .. I just want to be a blessing to God. In this day of challenges with you.. Love Donna
